About Us

       Green Meadow Lumber was founded in 1980 by Steve Oleksak. Currently owned and operated by his son Jeffrey.   Jeffrey, is an United States Air Force veteran, with life long ties to the Westfield community.  

       With a portable sawmill and a horse drawn logging sled, and 5 generations later has grown to its present location in Westfield, Massachusetts. For 100 years, Green Meadow Lumber, family owned and operated, has served Western Massachusetts with a commitment to service. 

      Our operation now includes a fully automated sawmill, pallet lumber cut-up operation, bark mulch business, We manufacture and sell pallets, natural mulch, color enhanced mulch and lumber.
